Elizabeth (Betsy) Turrell Farrar ’79 has served in a variety of Smith volunteer roles, including class president (2014–present), Fund Team coordinator (1999–2014), president of the Smith College Club of Columbus (1990–2002), and as the current chair of the club’s annual fundraiser.
She retired as partner in the Ohio-based law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP at the end of 2023, after more than 41 years of service. She is a board member of ProMusica Chamber Orchestra of Columbus, Bexley Community Foundation, Bexley Historical Society, and Bexley Chamber of Commerce.
For more than three decades, Betsy has dedicated herself to volunteer work with youth, education and community support programs.
